What members see on WhatsApp - Hydra Help

When someone sends their first ordinary text to your business’s connected number, they join and receive your welcome. Hydra uses their WhatsApp profile name when it’s available. Joining begins their membership with zero visit points. Once they’re a member, these messages have specific replies:

They send	They receive
`BALANCE`, `POINTS`, or `WALLET`	Their points at this business.
`HELP`, `MENU`, or `COMMANDS`	Help with balance and marketing choices.
`STOP`	Confirmation that marketing from this business has stopped.
`START` after stopping	Confirmation that marketing can resume.

STOP is a choice about marketing from this business. Service replies can still arrive, and stopping here doesn’t affect another business the person has joined.

When they come back

Staff find the member in Hydra Desk and choose Check in. Texting JOIN or CHECK IN again doesn’t add visit points. The WALLET reply gives balance information. Members should keep the actual voucher message for its code and terms; the reply doesn’t open a rewards wallet. See use a voucher.
