# Create your own voucher

> Describe the offer, review its design, and save it for later use.

A voucher shows members what they're getting, where to use it, and any terms. Create it once in **Rewards**; you can then prepare a separate code for each member you choose.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose Rewards → Create voucher">
    Under **What do members get?**, describe the benefit plainly. Add a short **Offer name** if it helps identify the product or service.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter where it can be used">
    Fill in **Where can they use it?** with your business or the place honouring the offer. This appears as **Use at** on the voucher.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose the image">
    Use your business's default image or add one that shows this offer. You can upload PNG, JPEG, or WebP, up to 5 MB.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add the terms">
    Set **Valid until** if the offer has a fixed end date. Use **Anything members should know?** for short terms that affect how they use it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review and save">
    Check the finished image on **Review voucher**, then choose **Save voucher**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Saving makes the offer available in **Rewards**. The code in its preview is an example. A real member code is created when you [prepare a voucher for someone](/rewards/send-a-voucher).

Hydra prepares your business's voucher design from its brand information. You can change this voucher's offer image after saving; existing member vouchers keep the image and details they had when issued.
