# Welcome to Hydra

> See how customers join your business, earn points, and receive rewards.

Hydra helps you recognise customers when they come back. A customer joins your business, your team records their visits, and you choose how to reward them. This guide will take you through those first steps.

## Your first steps

1. Check your join link and QR on **Home**. You can share those with customers right away. If we've connected your business WhatsApp number, customers can join by messaging it too.
2. Invite one customer and find them in **Members** after they join.
3. When they visit, staff find them in **Hydra Desk** and choose **Check in**. That records the visit and adds the points you've set.
4. Choose what to offer next: create a voucher in **Rewards**, or set a goal for earning one in **Campaigns**.

Joining makes someone a member of your business; it doesn't record a visit. That happens when your team checks them in.

## Where would you like to start?

If you're setting up Hydra for the first time, check your join details and points setting. If those are ready, try joining with your own phone so you can see what a customer sees.
