# Find your members

> Search the people who have joined your business.

**Members** shows the customers who have joined your business. Use it when someone returns or when you want to check their points or rewards.

## Find someone

1. Open **Members**.
2. Enter their name, phone number, or email in **Search**.
3. Choose **Search**, then open their profile.

A person who joined through WhatsApp may have no usable profile name. Search by phone if you don't see them by name.

## Add someone at the desk

If a customer wants to join while they're with you, staff can choose **Add member** in Hydra Desk. Ask them to confirm that they want to join this business before saving their name and phone number.

Adding a member creates their membership. To record today's visit, choose **Check in** separately. See [record a visit](/customers/check-in).
