# Manage a campaign

> Review its rule, change the details, or pause it.

Open **Campaigns** to see each campaign's name, one-sentence rule, and status. Choose **Open** to review the audience, goal, and reward.

## Change a campaign

1. Open the campaign and choose **Edit**.
2. Change the answers you need.
3. Check the updated sentence, then choose **Save**.

A live campaign needs to keep an available reward. To remove its reward, pause the campaign first. If a rule change could affect members already working towards a goal, speak to Hydra before changing the terms you've advertised.

## Pause or restart

Choose **Pause** on an active campaign to stop it evaluating new activity. A draft or paused campaign shows **Go live**, which checks whether it can be activated. **Ended** campaigns no longer evaluate activity.

If a campaign follows another, its detail shows **Members arrive from**. **Leads on to** shows any campaign that follows it. Members start fresh progress in the later campaign. See [how progress works](/loyalty/progress).
